"Our week of training and games went very well...I was and still am touched by the love shown to us by our new friends." Sam Tower is a retired 4-H program manager. He worked for 23 years as an experiential educator for the Washington State University 4-H youth development program. In his position, he was a trainer of adventure leaders, volunteer coordinator, and program risk manager for diverse programs including ropes courses, camps, and community groups. Sam also has extensive experience working with corporate groups, helping these groups develop teamwork and communication skills. Sam worked as volunteers for Play for Peace in India in 2005-2006, 2012 and 2013. The Play for Peace community in India welcomed him, and forming strong bonds and lasting friendships. Sam found that traveling and making connections with youth and community workers was both rewarding and challenging.
