“I believe that creating safe relationships is the first step towards learning and conflict-resolution. The core values of Play for Peace resonate with the principles that I use for working with people as well as in my personal life.”
Nisha has always believed in the transformative power of play and her experiences with Play for Peace as a volunteer in rural India have strengthened this belief. Her dream is to spread this wonderful way of forming bonds between people and help communities become happy in any small way that she can.
Nisha has done her graduate and post – graduate studies in Elementary Education. In her experience of seven years, she has also worked as a classroom teacher, a curriculum designer and a teacher educator. For the last four months, she has been travelling to different parts of the country looking for and creating diverse learning opportunities for herself and others who are interested in exploring experiential education, creating safe environments and making learning meaningful along with assisting in Play for Peace workshops in different organizations. Nisha has a keen interest in exploring theater as a methodology for learning and peace-building along with play.
