6:00 PM — Doors open — check-in begins
Arrive as the evening settles in over Radiance and the Emanation at Genius City grounds. Connect with fellow walkers, and meet the SHIFT Foundation team before the evening begins.
6:15 PM — Opening circle & welcome
The SHIFT Foundation opens the evening with a warm welcome and a Play for Peace® cooperative activity to bring the community together before the walk begins.
6:30 PM — Walk begins
Set off together through Radiance — the heart of the Emanation at Genius City project, as the sun begins to set over Dripping Springs. Walk at your own pace.
7:15 PM — Finish line & gathering
Walkers return to the gathering area for community photos, and time to connect with neighbors and fellow participants.
7:30 PM — Closing program
A short closing circle brings the evening together, a story from Play for Peace®'s global programs, a celebration of the Austin team's fundraising, and one final cooperative activity to close the day the same way it opened, together.
8:00 PM — Event closes
Thank you for walking with us. Safe travels home, and thank you for being part of the Austin community walk for peace. The SHIFT Foundation and Play for Peace® are so glad you were here tonight.
