Event at a Glance
9:30 AM Doors open — check-in begins
Arrive early to grab your name tag, connect with other participants, and meet the volunteer team. Wakefield Valley Park parking lot is open.
10:00 AM Opening circle & welcome
5K walkers head out on the main route. 1-mile loop participants begin the shorter path. Three activity stations along both routes — pause, play, and keep going.
11:30 AM Finish line & gathering
Walkers return to the finish area. Light refreshments, community photos, and a chance to connect with neighbors, fellow participants, and the Play for Peace® community.
12:00 PM Closing program
A short closing circle, stories from Play for Peace®'s global programs, celebration of the Westminster team's fundraising total, and a final cooperative activity together.
1:00 PM Event closes
