I am so excited to share with you an overview of our work from the past year as well as some of the goals we have for this year.
Dear Play for Peace Community, As we have begun to move deeper into this new year, I wanted to share with you memories from our recent past with the Play for Peace 2015 Annual Report now published for the public. We should all be so proud of all the work we have done and how far we've come in the last few years! I am so honored to have taken this journey with you and look towards the future with so much hope and enthusiasm. This year we are prioritizing support to our existing peace-builders around the world, primarily by offering new educational materials, funds and events. As this blog is being written, Imroz is reaching out to all of you to schedule regional meetings and share detailed information about these new programs and the MJT Service Award (with a $500 scholarship) is accepting applications through midnight tomorrow.
We are also focused this year on spreading global awareness of Play for Peace. Our work is known well at the local level and in some academic pockets, but I have heard your dream to bring Practice Peace Sessions to all the children of the world, and to do that, we need more recognition. And we'll do it, together! You can download our 2015 Annual Report report here or read it online below. Thank you to Maria Dell'Isola and Ian Browne for making this report possible.
