On Thursday March 9, nearly 170 Play for Peace supporters attended the 2017 Feast for Peace, which was held at Belvedere Banquets in Elk Grove, IL. Attendees had a delicious dinner and were treated to an ice cream and dessert buffet after the meal. Several PFP volunteers and trainers from around the world were present. Thozi Ndlazi shared his personal Play for Peace testimonial with attendees and Executive Director Sarah Gough shared the progress made since last year's Feast for Peace. This year, attendees were invited to participate in some cooperative games, which helped them visualize what the clubs around the world do during Practice Peace sessions. The group was also treated to live illustrations by Chicago animator, George Berlin. The event was the most successful to date, raising nearly $36,000! Congratulations to everyone who helped to organize and promote the event.
