Play for Peace has collaborated with the Hold the Child Organization in Juba, South Sudan since 2015. Play for Peace has become an integral part of Hold the Child by training youth living in conflict to cultivate leadership skills. Hold the Child mission is to “strengthen the resilience and capacity of families and communities to meet their obligations to the child through community centered child survival and development initiatives.” With the help of Play for Peace and the Hold the Child, youth leaders have been conducting regular Practice Peace Sessions in different programs and schools in Juba, South Sudan.
