Community Spotlight: Programming Partner SERES

"Having supportive collaborations is one of the ways we live our core values at Play for Peace. While we have over 25 Partners for Peace, I feel a second home with our Programming Partner, SERES, and working together is like working with family." Sarah Gough

The Play for Peace/SERES partnership began several years ago due to having friends in common who (wisely) brought us together. This year our collaboration is deepening and blossoming with the possibility of new projects on horizon. The photo below was taken at the Climate Action Picnic while, for a few minutes, we combined the Play for Peace and SERES trainings to play and connect with each other under this magnificent magnolia tree on the University of California Irvine campus. There will be more to come on this amazing event that ran parallel to the Global Compassion Summit. Consider visiting the SERES Embassy, a sustainable co-living and learning space located just outside of Antigua, Guatemala in the town of San Juan del Obispo. The Embassy serves as headquarters for the SERES team, and also provides a base for running our environmental learning and leadership programs. 19695620581_b179742c83_o
