Now through July 2022, Play for Peace is partnering with the experiential learning app Kikori to adapt and publish 250 activity plans, providing a one-stop mobile resource for group facilitators around the world.
What is the Kikori Content Crew Takeover?
This project, made possible by a grant from Marsh Family Foundation, is adapting social-emotional group learning activities from books, volunteers and other sources into activity entries on Kikori. Our end goal is to provide facilitators with hundreds of high-quality, customizable activities, plus step-by-step guidance for leading their groups, at the touch of a button.
Plus: Thanks to donor support, each published activity helps Play for Peace raise money to support its mission.
What kind of activities are you putting on the app?
Stay tuned: We'll be spotlighting some activities and Content Crew members in the coming weeks.
How can I get involved?
Join the Content Crew! This project is powered by a growing group of volunteers that works independently -- and sometimes as a group, at our voluntary virtual co-working parties -- to load and publish activities onto Kikori. It's a great opportunity to make a meaningful difference, virtually and on your own schedule. It's also a great way to grow your network and meet fellow Content Crew volunteers from around the world.
Useful experience and skill sets for this project include (but aren't limited to):
- teaching
- group or activity facilitation
- content management / CMS
- writing
- editing
- photography
