The children had so much fun that they were asking if there was going to be another play session the next day!

After 3 full days of busy (and fun) Play for Peace training, the local teacher and educators were ready to try leading their own Play for Peace sessions. Take a look at the pictures taken during these sessions.

At the end of the session, here is what the new Play for Peace facilitators learned in their leadership role:

  • Young children are more interested in physical games
  • Teenage youth felt conscious about touching
  • Games had to be adjusted depending on the age range of the participants
  • One girl was very shy but after playing for some time she became active
  • The children were asking if there was going to be another play session the next day

Success! Stay tuned for more Play for Peace blogs as Swati Bhatt and Agyat Shunya continue their journey in Schwebo, Myanmar.
