World Peace Day Celebrations began early in the Philippines!

"Peace can be obtained If people only knew how to listen, communicate, understand, consider and adjust." Evonne Grace Sosas, (a participant at the event)

The Play for Peace World Peace Day Celebrations have already begun...in Cebu, Philippines, children from four schools gathered for an early celebration on Sunday, September 13. In October, after the big Cebu festival, they plan to host an even bigger celebration with even more children in honor of the United Nations' International Day of Peace. It looks like they had a great time honoring an important day of peace.

"Play creates a safe venue where differences are welcomed and appreciated. Though our young leaders who attended are coming from different areas, they speak the same language of hope, inspiration, service and leadership. And play established a safe venue for them to to speak those languages and made those words be heard and even seen." - Richard De Los Reyes (Play for Peace - Mentor)
