I started my journey 5 years ago in the non-profit world working and learning directly on the program side of things. After a year of AmeriCorps, facilitating healthy cooking classes to parents and children in the Boston area, I found myself working for a youth development organization, and have spent the last 4 years mentoring and supporting young people in the Boston area. Using experiential learning, we taught life skills using cooking as a medium for learning and discussions. After finding a love for youth-development and facilitation, I unexpectedly found Play for Peace while traveling this past October! I have been supporting the development and communication side of things, and I absolutely love getting to create content showing the amazing work everyone does across the world!
