Nisha Sharma is an educator and Play for Peace Certified Trainer originally from New Delhi, India, now based in Finland, where she is pursuing doctoral research on building playfulness in pre-service teachers and designing a teacher education program grounded in that work. She began her career as a primary teacher and curriculum designer before discovering experiential education, which reshaped how she works with children, teachers, and communities. In India she designed inclusion-focused curriculum for marginalized children in Bihar and co-led Play for Peace trainings across the state. Nisha holds a Master's in Elementary Education from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences and a Bachelor of Elementary Education from Lady Shri Ram College, University of Delhi, along with a Diploma in Experiential Education and Practice. She was certified as a Play for Peace Trainer in 2014.
