Zoom Furaha Club: How Play is Transforming Kakuma Refugee Camp in Kenya
In Kakuma Refugee Camp, the Zoom Furaha Play for Peace Club brings youth together through play, joy, and cooperation — building peace one circle at a time.
Play for Peace® works in 22 countries with children and youth from communities in conflict, using cooperative play to build the trust, empathy, and connection that peace requires. The stories collected here come directly from the field: from facilitators in India, youth leaders in the Netherlands, trainers in Kenya, and community members across the globe who are living proof that play changes things. Browse by theme, by region, or start anywhere. Every story is the whole story.
