We are grateful to the young people of Countryside Church Unitarian Universalist community for their hard work and caring for children from communities in conflict!
As part of the Countryside Church's Faith-in-Action program, the congregation's young people held an Art Fair that featured notecards, wreaths, pottery, clocks, pins, scarves, and necklaces that they made themselves and sold in February to raise funds for causes such as Play for Peace. Thank you also to the McDonnell family who spoke to the Church about us and John (Board Chair) and Anbern Guarrine who visited the Church at the end of April to thank them for their hard work and generous donation as well as share some Play for Peace activities with the kids!
Countryside Church Unitarian Universalist is a religious community that confirms, challenges and supports a diverse membership that spans all age groups, faith traditions, and an array of ethnic, political and economic experiences.
