“I love it when the kids get excited about the activities! I love it when they want to do Play for Peace for the challenge and learning.” Kendra is a school social worker, Play for Peace Trainer and Mentor to a Play for Peace Club in Palatine, Illinois. She supports her older students (fifth and sixth grade) in leading Play for Peace activities with first and second graders. Kendra thinks Play for Peace is particularly helpful simply because kids love to play. Sometimes she sees kids that are not very motivated, but during Play for Peace, there is a rise in motivation. Her favorite activities include moonball, bananas of the world, people to people and biggest cheerleader.
