We are thrilled to announce the addition of two exceptional individuals to our board this April: Carol Bowden, Pharm.D., MBA, and Rahul Shah, MBA. These leaders bring a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to our mission. Meet Carol Bowden, Pharm.D., MBA
Carol Bowden is a highly respected figure in the healthcare industry, bringing a wealth of experience from various sectors to our organization. Her extensive background includes roles in global health, NGOs, major academic non-profit hospitals, and academia. With a deep passion for improving lives through optimized health, nutrition, and education, Carol is a formidable addition to our board.
Carol’s professional journey is marked by significant contributions that align perfectly with our organization’s mission. Her experience includes serving as an Advisory Board Member for the University of Findlay College of Pharmacy for seven years and working with Bio Ventures for Global Health through a Fellowship for Global Health. In this role, she contributed as a consultant to build clinical research capacity. Additionally, Carol has led as the Director of Pharmacy at Methodist Hospital in Houston, overseeing a team of 175 pharmacists and technicians, and has participated in medical missions in India.
Meet Rahul Shah, MBA
Rahul Shah brings over 22 years of leadership experience to our board, currently serving in a significant role at JPMorgan Chase. His career has seen him engage with diverse cultures and teams in over 25 countries, uniting them behind common goals. Rahul is now eager to leverage this background for the broader good of society.
Rahul’s expertise lies in providing bespoke financing solutions to institutional clients across emerging markets, which aligns with our need for creative and strategic financial planning. His ability to engage clients across different cultures and earn their trust will be a tremendous asset. Internally, Rahul has demonstrated leadership by fostering a culture of success through collaboration and innovation within a diverse team.
